Strong winds with heavy rainfall blew off roofs causing damages to properties in Kumbur Payam of Heiban County, Nuba Mountains.
No casualties were reported in the incident over the weekend, Radio Voice of Peace reports.
One of the stores of Radio Voice of Peace also lost its roof and the rain spoiled bags of cement which were inside.
Roofs of Mother of Mercy Hospital and in the nearby village were damaged.
Yunnan Abdullah, the constructor, says people have to close doors and windows when winds are strong.
Every year, at the beginning of the rainy season, damages are reported in communities of the Nuba Mountains.
