The Gender Desk at Yei Police station received today some office equipment, a gift from the Institute for Promotion of Civil Society (IPCS).
IPCS program officer Emmanuel Jacob told Easter Radio that the Institute was very pleased to hand over some stationery together with a computer and a printer to allow the gender desk to render its services more efficiently.Mr. Jacob added that the IPCS was willing to cooperate with the gender office and offer them further support.
Gender desk officer Woyi Wilson thanked the IPCS for the office equipment.
The inspector of gender and social welfare, Victoria Nasira, urged NGOs and the police to cooperate with the gender desk for provision of better services.
