United Nations Institute for Training and Research or UNITAR in partnership with the government of Japan has launched a fellowship on project management skills.
The Initiative is expected to train 20 people on effective project management implementation, monitoring and evaluation, Radio Bakhita reports.
Mihoko Kumamoto, head of UNITAR Hiroshima office, says the trainees were selected from different sectors: twelve from public sector and eight from the private sector.
She adds that the training will empower the participants with the entrepreneurship talents.

South Sudan fellowship programme is a six-month long initiative undertaken with the support of the Japanese government.
The initiative aims to impart knowledge and attitudes by offering two international workshops for public and private sectors, civil society and academicians.
