Ministry of Health to deploy medical team to South Sudan-Congo border

The national Ministry of Health in collaboration with World Health Organization or WHO is deploying medical team Tuesday to South Sudan-Congo border due to Ebola outbreak.
 
Riek Gai Kok Minister of Health, advises people not to panic, but move freely from their places because Ebola is detected far away from the Congo border, Radio Bakhita reports.
 
He urges citizens to restrain from eating wild fruits and wild animals’ meat.
 
Osman Abdulmumini, WHO Representative, vows to work with Health Ministry to put control measures to prevent Ebola.
 
At least eleven Ebola cases including three deaths have been reported from the Eastern part of Congo, according to World Health Organization.
 
More than 11,000 people died in the Ebola outbreak in West Africa in 2014 and 2015, mainly in Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia.
