South Sudanese in Egypt urge government and oppositions to stop fighting

The South Sudanese in Cairo, Egypt are calling on the national government and all the opposition forces to stop fighting in South Sudan.
 
Simon Peter Sarawasi, head of Zande Community in Cairo, says South Sudanese in Diaspora are not happy with the security situation at home due to ongoing suffering of innocent civilians, Radio Anisa reports.
 
He regrets to see his home country slipping again to war after South Sudanese voted for independence for full peace, development and freedom.
 
The Diaspora calls on President Salva Kiir and other opposition leaders not to be greedy of power, but put the interest of their citizens as the first priority.
 
Sarawasi calls on South Sudanese people to pray for lasting peace to prevail in the country.
 
The Egyptian government is treating South Sudanese with dignity only those who violate the law are subjected to legal steps against them, Sarawasi assures.
 
He reveals that about ten thousands South Sudanese are currently living in Egypt including students and those who left because of the ongoing war in the country.
 
South Sudanese who are living in Egypt are not involved in peace processes in South Sudan, he notes.
 
He was speaking to Radio Anisa in telephone interview from Cairo, Egypt on Thursday.
