Imotong State Municipal authorities urge Boma chiefs in Torit town to work with the community to achieve lasting peace. 
 
Julius Celestino Madi, Chief Executive Officer in Torit Municipal Council told Radio Emmanuel that traditional leaders are the agents of peace in the community.
 
He expresses his readiness to respond to any appeal by Chiefs concerning security threats in the town.
 
The officer urges the chiefs to abide by the Local Government Act that guides their communities.
 
The Chief executive officer was talking to the people during the first election of Boma chief at Ilangi residential area in Torit.
 
There have been reports of night robbery in Torit town over the last two weeks.
