Tonj State Minister of Finance has on Friday met the business community and the Chamber of Commerce to find ways to overcome the economic challenges.
James Gabriel Khamis, Finance Minister says the skyrocketing prices and rejection of one pound note were the two agendas discussed, Don Bosco Radio Reports.
He states that traders have denied any rejection of the one South Sudanese pound.
The two groups agreed to reset the commodity prices, he adds.
Hasen Hesen Mathara, Chairperson of trade appreciates the minister for the good decision to aware the community of what is taking place.
He promises that the prices will be regulated once goods are brought to the state.
Hesen advises the community to follow orders of the authorities.
The speakers made the comments in Tonj on Friday.
