The Director of Trauma and Healing in the Catholic Diocese of Tombura/Yambio is calling on the partners to support the program.
Fr Abraham Abayo appeals to partners to show their will and help them to minimize trauma among citizens both in urban and rural areas, Radio Anisa reports.
He says the Trauma and Healing Department is conducting various activities including visiting the sick in hospitals.
The objective of trauma healing is to see a society where people think balanced, are free in their minds and make their own decision well, Fr Abayo adds.
He condemns the ongoing conflict which has affected all citizens in South Sudan.
The Director observes that the high cost of commodities in the market is increasing the trauma in people.
He urges the entire community of South Sudan to work for peace at all levels to heal the country from shock.
The speaker made the remark in a telephone interview to Radio Anisa on Thursday.
