Director urges farmers to be ready to cultivate

The Director-General in the Ministry of Agriculture on Thursday has encouraged local famers to make use of the first rainfall for cultivation to increase crop production.
 
John Malith Rual says land preparation is the first step for good cultivation to begin plantation, Radio Good News reports.
 
He says the farmers have prepared enough land of almost twenty thousand hectors across the state.
 
Malith urges farmers to consider the type of crops, place and when they grow for good harvest.
 
Director-General Malith calls upon intellectuals and local famers to maximize crops production to reduce hunger in the country.
