The Director-General in the Ministry of Gender, Child and Social Welfare has returned to Juba after participating in a gender mainstreaming training in Kampala, Uganda.
Regina Ossa Lullo, says the one-week workshop was to strengthen the capacity of gender focal points to normalize it into the economy of South Sudan, Radio Bakhita reports.
Ossa adds that the workshop also discussed gender equality and how to help women work together with men.
Japanese International Cooperation Agency supported the Director-General to participate in first gender-mainstreaming workshop in Kampala, Uganda from April 23 to 28.
