The South Sudanese Network for Democracy and Elections or SSuNDE and UNDP in collaboration with the University of Juba will hold a workshop on inspiring action for sustainable development in South Sudan on Friday.
About 200 students and the leadership of the University will participate in the exercise, says Rajab Mohandis, SSuNDE Executive Director.
He explains that the meeting will discuss achievements in Sustainable Development Goals 2016, how South Sudan can build on the previous goals and sustain the outcomes.
The workshop is expected to see a way forward on the university pledges on the Sustainable Development Goals, Mohandis adds.
The Director discloses that SSuNDE and UNDP will meet university administrations to discuss their actions on the Goals.
He discloses that a similar workshop will also be held at the Women Union on Saturday with about 200 student-participants from Star International University.
