Medical Director worries as staff spend months without salaries

The Medical Director of Yambio State Hospital expresses worry as workforce has now spent four months without getting their salaries.
 
Dr Ismail Ahmed says the staff have been suffering since last December because their money is not paid, Radio Anisa reports.
 
He mentions lack of motivation to all medical personnel and poor working conditions.
 
The Director says there is great improvement in the Children and Maternity Wards after the intervention of health partners.
 
Hussein Enoka Ibrahim, Gbudue State New Health Minister, promises to work closely with health personnel in Yambio Hospital and other hospitals in the state.
 
He recognizes the hard and quality service delivery.
 
Hundreds of health personnel and people from different ministries on Wednesday witnessed the first visit of the new Gbudue Health Minister to the hospital.
