Governors agree to open routes between South Sudan and Sudan

Fourteen Governors of Greater Bahr El Ghazal and Abyei Administrative Area in Gogrial State agreed to open trading routes between South Sudan and Sudan.
 
Gogrial State Information Minister, Ariech Mayar Ariech told Radio Bakhita on Monday that the governors discussed security issues among the states.
 
He says the meeting also discussed the recent crisis in Wau State.
 
Mayar says the governors will hold a series of consultative meetings in Wau and Rumbek to iron out other issues.
 
He says the leaders from the fourteen states have agreed to deployed forces along border areas.
 
The governors in the two-day conference discussed security, cooperation, development and enhancing information sharing along the borders between neighbouring states and Sudan.
