The Catholic Bishop of Yei says there is no security in Yei River because of the day to day robbery and killings.
Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe says there are contradictory messages about the situation in Yei which is not the actual condition people face, Radio Easter reports.
There are calls for those who have left Yei town for refuge to come back, but at the end they are unable to reach the town, he points out.
The Bishop mentions that those who have food in the outskirt cannot access their farms to collect their products, either it is robbed away or they are killed.
He says the call for peace still continues.
The bishop made the call on Monday in Yei following series of insecurity incidences in the area.
