The Mayor of Tonj on Friday issued an order closing down night football clubs because of insecurity in the Municipality.
Joseph Anei Mador says the order is due to a number of cases he received from communities concerning insecurity, Radio Don Bosco reports.
He says the night football clubs will close for three months until the security is calm.
The Mayor urges the owners of the clubs to operate during the day to give time to the organized forces to secure Tonj town.
The order says violators will receive punishment not less than ten thousand pounds.
He advises communities of Tonj to respect any order the authority issue.
