South Sudan Theatre trains students on trauma healing with drama

South Sudan Theatre Organization is training students at Juba Girls Secondary School on trauma healing and reconciliation with drama in schools and streets.
 
The aim is to enable learners have awareness and know how to send a peace messages, says Dominic Gregory, Artistic Director of the Organization.
 
He explains that they performed sixteen dramas along the streets of Juba and would expand their activities to other states.
 
Steven Wani, VISTAS of USAID officer says students can easily pass peace, reconciliation and trauma healing messages to communities.
 
He appreciates USAID for supporting the initiative.
 
Some students urge their colleagues to convey a message in a correct way to avoid faint and shock.
 
They appealed to elders not to ignore them.
 
South Sudan Theatre Organization is expected to train more schools in Juba through dramas on trauma healing.
