Insecurity in the country has affected business by forcing traders to increase prices of commodities in Tonj market, says Mayor.

Joseph Anei Madoor says insecurity, roadblocks and rising exchange rate of US Dollar hindered traders from buying goods, Radio Don Bosco reports.

He urges the traders to cooperate with their customers despise the current situation.

The government is working hard to resolve the problem, he added.

The Mayor advises the people of Tonj State to reduce prices of the local products and not to compare them with those imported from the neighbouring countries.

He made the remark in an interview to Radio Don Bosco on Tuesday.
