Hundred of Christians on Sunday gathered at Our Lady of Loreto in Lugi Parish of El Obeid Diocese to celebrate Easter.
Fr Zachariah Osman al Ndena in his homily told the faithful that Christ became man and suffered like anyone.
The priest said there would have not been any Christian if Christ did not offer himself for the salvation of man.
Fr Osman stressed that no man can offer his child as a sacrifice except God who did that with His only beloved Son to save human kind from sins of the world.
The priest challenged Christians to be strong in their faith.
Fr Osman remarked that God will never do something that hurt human beings, but corrects the wrong ways.
