Civilians fleeing back to churches in Wau

Civilians in Wau State have again run to churches for protection after a random shooting by uniformed and unknown group on Monday early morning.
 
Wau Deputy Governor, Charles Anthony Nberende, describes the shooters as criminals and that security personnel are following to arrest them.
 
Fr Moses Peter, Humanitarian Aid Coordinator of the Catholic Diocese of Wau, says they welcomed the IDPs in big numbers.
 
He calls on the government authorizes to bring the perpetrators to face justice.
 
A family member of late Michael Sabino says the armed men shot his brother three times at around 5:30 in the morning.
 
An eyewitness says the uniformed armed men attacked them at morning hours and looted them.
 
Wau State fighting started at 2:30 AM.
