Italia donates 4 million Euros for emergency intervention in South Sudan

Italian government has announced donation of four million Euros for emergency intervention in South Sudan.
 
Two million Euros will go to UNICEF and World Food Program for immediate emergency response, says Giuseppe Mistretta, Italian Ambassador to South Sudan, Radio Bakhita reports.
 
He adds that the other two million Euros will go to Italian NGOs working in South Sudan.
 
Meanwhile, Minister of Health Riek Gai Kok appreciates Italian’s NGOs for their role in the country
 
He urges the Italian government to extend its health services to South Sudan.
 
Dr Gai expresses readiness to work with Italian government for better service delivery to South Sudanese.
