The Secretariat for Animals’ Health in the Nuba Mountains is launching animals’ vaccinations in various counties of the region.
Director-General, Anwar Abdallah Anyjilo explains to Radio Voice of Peace that the immunization that started on Wednesday targets cows to avoid diseases outbreak.
He notes that the vaccination program should start in December, but delayed due to other circumstances.
The Director announces that in Heiban County vaccination will start on April twenty-fifth and end on May fifth.
Abdallah explains that the targeted number of cows is 75 thousand.
He urges people of the region to immunize their cows to avoid diseases.
