United Nations Population Fund or UNFPA is working with partners to establish obstetric fistula national taskforce to develop clear strategies to reduce the disease in the country.
UNFPA Country Representative, Esperance Fundira, says the taskforce will give care to fistula survivors, Radio Bakhita reports.
Riek Gai Kok, Minister of Health, says UNFPA Boma Initiative will help identify those who are suffering from fistula and improve the capacity of health workers.
The Speakers made the statement on Thursday during the launch of Obstetric Fistula campaign that started on the third and expected to end on April 18 in Juba.
