Kauka Said, Secretary of Education in the Nuba Mountains, considers teaching as a voluntary profession because teachers are not paid well in the whole region.
 
The Secretary believes teachers could be better off because they are getting assistance from communities unlike other education sectors.
 
72 teachers attended the three-day workshop that ended on Thursday.
