Activist of Rural Development Action Aid pledges to boost agricultural production in Gbudwe State and South Sudan as a whole.
Wanga Emmanuel, Aid Coordinator says their project aims at developing farming not only for subsistence and emergency purposes, Radio Anisa reports.
The project covers Gbudue and Tombura States to provide market for farmers and home consumption, he adds.
The proposed places are not due to high starvation but an assessment done with advice from the State Ministry of Agriculture, the Coordinator reveals.
Wanga says training farmers will soon start to enable them produce sufficient food because most of them grow subsistence crops for local consumption.
The project targets vulnerable people, people affected by HIV/AIDS, orphans and disables, he also reveals.
