Western Lakes State Police on Thursday recovered fake dollars being circulated in Rumbek market by money dealers.
Captain Elijah Mabor Makuach, Chairperson of Police Community Relation Committee, told Radio Good News that they discovered forged money in the market.
Captain Mabor advises business community and the entire public to be careful about exchanging hard currencies in the market.
Police discovered about one thousand US Dollars and the case is still under investigations, Mabor adds.
The number of fake dollars that the police seized included fifty and hundred banknotes of US Dollars.
