The Speaker of the Transitional National Legislative Assembly promises to advocate for doubling of the budget allocated to women.
Anthony Lino Makana says the previous budget was not satisfactory to run activities of women especially in rural areas, Radio Bakhita reports.
The SPLM is working for the interest of all women, says Acting Secretary, Jemma Nunu Kumba.
She encourages other parties to support their female members.
