Prices of goods in the markets will continue to rise in Nuba Mountains as US Dollar is gaining power than the Pounds, cautions Business Association General-Secretary.
Abass Anur Daud notes that the pounds became weak due to the ongoing conflicts in Sudan and South Sudan, Radio Voice of Peace reports.
Anur urges traders not to take the advantage of the situation, but reduce prices so that ordinary citizens can afford to buy goods.
The weak pound forces citizens to carry large sums of money to markets, but return home with small quantity of commodities.
