Imotong Women call on South Sudanese to pray for peace

Women in Imotong State are urging fellow citizens to humble themselves and pray to God in faith, to have peace in South Sudan.
 
The Women made the call in Torit during the Inter-Church committee prayer for peace, conducted in AIC Church Compound on Tuesday, Radio Emmanuel reports.
 
Clementina Itwari, Women Coordinator in the Catholic Diocese of Torit calls on the warring parties to silence their guns.
 
Margret Dawa, Deputy Chief of Inter Church committee prays to God to change the hearts of those who are raping women and girls.
 
She urges everybody to forgive one another.
 
Frolence Night Otto, Imotong State Law Maker says women especially widows are carrying burden at homes.
 
Dozens of women gathered for a peace prayer organized by the Inter-Church Committee.
 
The peace prayer was under the theme ‘don’t be silent, pray for the deliverance of the whole nation’.
