The Chairperson of South Sudan Chamber of Commerce is urging the government to support agriculture to boost the economy.
In a meeting that brought together the national and states chamber of commerce on Tuesday, Benjamin Bol Mel says issues were discussed to boost the economy, Radio Bakhita reports.
They say they have agreed to embark on agricultural sector this year to ensure the economy stabilizes.
Benjamin warns traders of taking advantage of the current economy by charging goods at very high prices to earn more.
The States and the national Chamber of Commerce appeal to the government to support the initiative of agriculture to succeed.
