Thousands of people, Muslims and Christians went to the airport to receive the body of the Catholic Bishop of Wau.
Alfred Swaka, CRN News Editor says the body of the late Rudolf Deng Majak arrived Wau safely and that the procession started from the Airport to St Mary Cathedral.
He says Roko Taban Musa, Apostolic Administrator of Malakal Diocese was among the church leaders who received the body.
Swaka adds that top government officials, including the Governors of greater Bar el Ghazal were also among those who received the late Bishop.
He says the people’s mood indicates a big lost to the Diocese and the region at large.
Swaka says the burrial is expected to take place on Friday.
The Catholic Bishop of Wau Diocese died on Monday 6 in Germany after long illness.
