The Minister of Justice says the government has no enough resources to compensate the war victims in the Country.

Paulino Wanawila Unango says there is need for South Sudan to first determine who the victims are, Radio Bakhita reports.

According to the peace agreement, an African Union Commission will establish a hybrid court in South Sudan to investigate and prosecute individuals who violated the international laws since December 2013.

But Wanawila says the government is waiting for the memorandum of understanding from the African union on the establishment of the hybrid court.

Last year, families of victims are demanding justice and establishment of a Hybrid Court in order to avoid recurrence of such atrocities in the future.

Minister Wanawila was speaking to Journalists on Thursday after arriving Juba International Airport from Geneva.
