Red Cross says millions of South Sudanese in need of humanitarian aid

The International federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent society says millions of internally displaced people are in need of humanitarian aid in the country.
 
Representative Sanne Boswijk calls for quick assistance to the people, Radio Bakhita reports.
 
While addressing journalist on Wednesday, she said the situation needs good planning to manage the risk.
 
Gatwich Peter Kulang is the Undersecretary in the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management.
 
He says a committee has already been formed for the implementation of disaster management law.
 
According to WFP, the war and the collapsing economy, have left over one hundred thousand people facing starvation in parts of South Sudan, where famine was declared last month.
