Chiefs ask government to control rampant killing of civilians

The chiefs in Yei River County are asking the government to control the rampant killing of innocent civilians in the town.
 
Peter Sayyid Morjan is one of the chiefs. He says they met the commissioner of the county to tell him about the atrocities being committed in Yei, Radio Easter reports.
 
He complains that people are unable to harvest their crops because they are killed even in their residential areas.
 
Denis Lasuba Paul, County Commissioner acknowledges the chief’s complains.
 
He says he will talk to the security agents to create awareness for peaceful coexistence.
 
The chief and the commissioner were speaking to Radio Easter in an interview.
