The UN Undersecretary-General in the department of peace keeping operation says the first units of the Regional Protection Force or RPF are expected to arrive Juba in the coming few days.
Herve Ladsous tells Journalists that they are working with the government to clear some obstacles delaying the deployment, Radio Bakhita reports.
He says the initial troops for the regional protection force will come from Rwanda, Nepal and Bangladesh.
But he did not mention the number of troops expected to come.
Ladsousf says government could not facilitate the deployment of the force timely.
He says RPF will be deployed to protect civilians and other duties.
UN Security Council approved an additional 4,000 peacekeepers from nearby countries to help protect civilians after fighting erupted in Juba last year
