The Catholic Diocese of Tombura/Yambio trained people living with HIV/AIDS on nutrition and balance diet in Ibba and Maridi Parishes.
The training targets 20 households for the participants to deal with pests, says Luka Simon Brown, Diocesan HIV Response Manager, Radio Anisa reports.
He observes that people living with HIV are under serious condition that need help to live longer.
Simon appeals to other NGOs to help them because they always complain of hunger posing them at risk.
He appeals to everybody to adhere to the rules and guidance on how to protect themselves from HIV/AIDs.
James Nunguruyo, Field Officer for Eastern Denary, says the participants are expected to help others.
Tombura/Yambio Catholic Diocese has been carrying awareness, treatment, counseling and behavior change process for the past five years.
