The government will not negotiate with armed opposition on the two Indian aid workers kidnapped early this month, according to spokesperson.

Michael Makuei Lueth told Journalists on Monday that the kidnappers demand for one million US Dollars as ransom to release them, Radio Bakhita reports.

He says the government is not willing to give any payment to the kidnappers.

Makuei advises aid workers not to go to places without government protection.

Meanwhile VOA South Sudan in Focus quoted armed opposition spokesperson as saying they did not ask for ransom to release the aid workers.

According to Reuters, eight other humanitarian agents belonging to Samaritan purse were kidnapped last week and their whereabouts are unknown.
