Yei River County authorities plan to build butchery to resolve the problem of slaughtering stolen animals in the town.
The county will form a committee to get assembling point so that no stolen animals are slaughtered, Commissioner Denis Lasuba Denis, tells butchers during a meeting, Radio Easter reports.
Azariah Khamis Noah, the Town Clerk, prioritizes the butchery and the assembling point of animals in order to stop cases of the theft.
Meanwhile butchers call for the speedy establishment of the assembling points and the butchery so that they can put things in order.
The speakers made the remarks on Monday in the commissioner’s office.
