Mobilize citizens for prayers and fasting ahead of the national dialogue, Mayor of Juba City Council urges directors of quarter councils.
Stephen Wani Michael says the president has called for national prayer across the country for forgiveness and repentance, Radio Bakhita reported.
He told Quarter Council Directors in a meeting in Juba on Tuesday that the prayer will be held at Dr John Garang mausoleum on Friday 10 this month.
The Mayor stressed the need for prayers to end the conflict in the country after many attempts to bring peace have been let down.
In December last year, President Salva Kiir declared a national dialogue expected to start in March to bring lasting peace in the country.
