United Nation Mission in South Sudan UNMISS in collaboration with Western Lakes Ministry of Education opened formation of Peace and Human Rights Clubs in Rumbek Secondary Schools.
Kwame Dawamina, UNMISS Head Field Office says the clubs will shape students to be good future leaders of South Sudan, Radio Good News reported.
She revealed that the clubs will begin with debates to help in developing students’ public speaking skills.
Education Minister Francis Mabor Meen described the students as the future hope of South Sudan that needs to be developed.
Over 60 students from seven Secondary Schools and other stakeholders attended the inauguration of human right clubs on Tuesday in Rumbek.
