In order to have credible peace, justice, reconciliation and healing, unknown gunmen and fighting must be stopped in South Sudan, says the Secretary General of South Sudan Council of Churches, or SSCC.
Fr James Oyet Latansio says people cannot seek justice when guns are still heard in all corners of South Sudan.
Fr Oyet says the provisions in South Sudan constitution have been dumped away.
He also sees no implementation in the peace agreement.
Gordon Lam, Executive Director for Dialogue and Research Initiative calls for cessation of hostilities to allow freedom of movement.
The officials were speaking to CRN during one day workshop on transitional justice, peace, reconciliation and healing.
