Civil Society Organizations in Yambio of Gbudue State have denounced stigma and discrimination against people living with HIV/AIDs in South Sudan.
 
Every first of March is the international day for zero stigma and discrimination against people with the disease, says Mary John Osman, Chair of National Empowerment Effective Women United or NEWPU.
 
According to a report, some people living with HIV have decided to quit their jobs because of stigma and discrimination.
 
Jackson Wenesayo, Coordinator for Change Agency Association advises the public not to discriminate people based on health status.
 
He urges those with HIV to continue taking their drugs as prescribed by doctors.
