Imotong State launches polio campaign

The Ministry of health in collaboration with partners launches a polio campaign to free South Sudan from the killer disease.
 
According to Radio Emmanuel, the campaign targets more than 80 thousand Children in both Imotong and Kapoeta States.
 
Mr Ojinga Gabriel is the Health Officer of Save the Children.
 
He calls for social mobilization to vaccinate all the children under five years of age.
 
Dr Augustine Okwahi, Director General in Imotong State Ministry of Health, advises parents or guardians to keep their children at home to ensure they are vaccinated.
 
Torit County Commissioner Fermo Isarah Peter appeals to vaccinators not to get tired and miss any home.
 
Tobiolo Alberio Oromo, Imotong State Governor, urges the County commissioners and other government officials to work together with health partners to combat the virus.
 
He calls for peace in the country for easy access to health services.
