The Catholic Archdiocese of Juba has received nine new Missionaries of the Mary Immaculate.
Missionaries Superior General Fr Sagai Rach says they are dealing with pastoral care, human and child development in South Sudan, Radio Bakhita reports.
Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro describes the coming of the Missionaries to the country as a sign of hope for the people of South Sudan.
Pope Francis is expected in the country in October this year and that preparation for his reception is on process, discloses the Archbishop.
He says the exact date for the arrival of the Holy Father is yet to be confirmed.
Archbishop Lukudu urges the people of South Sudan to stop fighting and renew their lives as they wait for the coming of the Pope to the country.
