The Catholic Bishop of Yei Diocese says the Church is not against the government as claimed by some individual.
According to Radio Easter, Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe says it is a false accusation that the Church is against the government.
He says the Catholic Church plays a good role in supporting the government through peace initiatives and advice.
Bishop Lodu believes some people do not know about the church.
The bishop made the remarks on Sunday at Christ the King Cathedral upon arrival from Juba
