South Sudan Catholic Bishops in their pastoral message after their three-day meeting in Juba, call for action, not just dialogue in South Sudan.
The Bishops advise political leaders to work for justice, peace and reject violence and revenge.
The church leaders intend to meet the President, Vice President, opposition leaders and politicians, and members of parliament, the letter says.
The Bishops also intend to meet military officers from all sides to change South Sudan to better, it adds.
The Bishops reiterate their support for the South Sudan Council of Churches’ Action Plan for peace.
The religious leaders appeal to South Sudanese to exercise restraint, tolerance, forgiveness and love one another.
