Episcopal Church compound in Wau is congested with Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs, says Director for Christian Action for Relief and Development.

Pastor Andrew Apinyi says the congestion results from increasing influx of IDPs from Achot, Roc Dong and Kwajeno, Radio Voice of Hope reports.

He says the IDPs face challenges of medication, washrooms and food among others.

He says the Christian organization only supports those with a single meal per day.

He appeals to international organizations to rescue the situation of IDPs.

Many of the IDPs depend on raw mangoes for survival.

Episcopal Church IDPs’ camp was established recently when conflict erupted between cattle herders and crop growers in Jur River area.
