A priest in the Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio says self-discipline is the way to holiness.
Fr Tomas Bagbiowia in his homily at St Mary Yambio Parish observes that holiness is a call from God, Radio Anisa reports.
He cites prayer, fasting and self-discipline as three things that lead to holiness.
Fr Bagbiowia advises Christians to forgive and love their enemies to become health physically and spiritually.
He says anger or hatred harms one’s health and performance in work.
Fr Bagbiowia says Christian identity is manifested through forgiveness and love for enemies not revenge.
The priest was speaking during English Morning Service on Sunday at St Mary Yambio Parish.
