Nuba Mountain launches football league

Kurumba Secondary School peace club together with secretary of sports in the Nuba Mountains on Wednesday opened round of league in Kauda playground.
 
According to Radio Voice Peace, the football confederation is in remembrance of the late Kurumba teacher who was killed in the school compound last year.
 
The head of organizing committee, Fatahee Abdullah says the different team from group A and B will take part in the competition.
 
He cites that the first group Ninety- nine and Youssif Kuwa ended with draw 2-2 in the first round of the league
 
Abdullah says the valley-ball competition for girls will be on 21 next week.
 
The football league and other activities will run for more than a week, he adds.
 
The opening ceremony was attended by Secretary of information and other authorities in the region.
