No arrest of journalists without trial, warns Undersecretary

No journalists should be arrested and detain for a long time, but be tried, says Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
 
Justine Alier De Mayen says journalists should be imprisoned after been proved guilty by court of law for justice to prevail.
 
He expresses willingness to work jointly with AMDISS for the release of journalists.
 
AMDISS Chairman, Alfred Taban, renews his call for the immediate release of Radio Miraya journalist Gorge Livio who is still in prison for almost three years.
 
‘The dialogue must include everybody, but there are some journalists who are in jail. How can they participate in the dialogue?’, Taban questions authorities.
