As the world commemorates radio day, listeners in Torit say the station should be disseminating programs that will help educate communities.
Oduho Jackson Atilio, a resident of Longute, says program concerning the role of women in the society is what radios should promote, Radio Emmanuel reports.
Viola Jimmy, a resident of Ilangi, says people are interested to hear about the daily sky rocketing prices of goods in the market which has become a major concern.
She believes that such programs enable people to know about the market.
Naomi Agnes also says she loves to listen to the radio talking about homeless children.
Naomi added that families also benefit from listening to health program played on radio stations.
